Positional; postural: Your question suggests that this protrusion has not always been present. Something like this is often long-standing, but one day you just notice it! Posture could contribute, but the most worrisome thing at your age is scoliosis. Most of the symptoms from scoliosis appear before skeletal maturity (about 18 years), however. See your doctor for full evaluation. Best wishes:)
