Maybe not related...: ...but if there is drainage, poor wound closure, redness and/or local tenderness, or pain as significant and progressive as you describe, then please ask your surgeon to take a re-look at the site.

Usually pain resolve: with time. If it is at all bothersome, I would make sure that a doctor takes at look at your site; just to make sure there isn't anything concerning developing.
