A member asked:

Had my gallbladder removed over a month ago and my belly button around my incision is painful and pressure when i press around it, what does it mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May be normal: Sometimes the belly-button incision takes a long time to stop being sensitive. Alternatively, if it is red, warm to the touch or oozing, there could be infection and you need to be checked. Another possibility is a small hernia at the belly button. See your surgeon for a check up.
