How can i measure pulse difference between upper and lower extremities. can i do it by myself? i'm doubtful about a thick s1 sound at aorta area.

Thick or loud 1st So: Aortic valve area and pulmonary valve areas- we hear S2 (racepinephrine) better than S1. Are you in medical profession? Just surious why ,you are concerned about pulse difference. Loud S1 over mitral area, with a mid diastolic murmur is of concern ,for mitral valve stenosis. Radio femoralpulse delay , in a condition called coarctation of aorta ,and this doesn't cause thick S1. Soft S2 (racepinephrine) happens in aortic stenosis

Not a good idea.: Can't be taught in 400 words and the interpretation piece would be even more difficult. If you think there is something wrong with your heart sounds see your doc and consider obtaining a definitive study to put an end to your concern.
