Mitral valve murmur: is usually a blowing sound heard best at about the nipple line just left of the sternum and radiates to the left side. It is difficult to say what you are hearing, and the best thing would be to have an exam by your family doctor or a cardiologist if this is concerning to you or you are having symptoms. What you are hearing may be a normal sound.
