Hello doc, how long does it take to become an obstetrician, or an obgyn?

OB-GYN Education: OB-GYN MD education is a long and arduous journey. Frist there is college(4 yrs.) + medical school (4yrs.) + post-graduate residency training (4yrs.) + Fellowships for sub-specialties if desired such as Reproductive Endocrinology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, GYN Oncology, Urogynecology ,etc.(2 to 3 years). ABOG Board certification includes both a written and oral exam.
