F is antiandrogen Rx: and mainly is used to block the action of androgens on androgen sensitive tissue cells, and is mainly used for prostate cancer. It has been shown to cause elevation of blood levels of testosterone and estradiol, and hormonal effects such as enlarged breasts can be a side effect, so it clearly has hormonal affects, and I assume, could cause missed periods. Use in women is off label.
