What would cause an elevated lipase test, but normal ct scan of pancreas?

Mild and transient: Mild and transient pancreatitis. It can resolve quickly, m particualrly if mild. The ct scan was probably obtained to make sure you did not have cancer of that organ, which is a terrible disease. Be glad that the ct was normal.
