Probably not.: I would worry less since you ran a marathon last week! That's awesome! I know MY calves would be sore if I ran that far! I would say most runners will have sore calves after a marathon! BCPs do increase risk of DVT as does smoking, and inactivity (running is very active!). DVTs are usually unilateral, so if both calves are sore, it is probably muscle aches. If calf is hot, swollen, or numb see MD.
