See below: I would recommend that you make an appointment with your physician for a physical exam since it's been two weeks and you still have limited range of motion

Yes, depends on..: severity of the strain/hyperextension, and also depends on how well you are caring for your knee after the injury and how much initial swelling there was in the knee. It is recommended to put your leg in a knee immobilizer if it is unstable or extremely painful to move. "RICES". Rest, Ice, Compression bandage, Elevate, and support will help you recover the fastest. Be sure to follow up w/your Dr

Yes; this would be -: normal; with inflammation and swelling as well as injury to the PCL, capsule, or other ligaments/menisci etc. It might easily take at least 6-8 weeks for the swelling/injury to improve; or more if surgery is needed. See your orthopod, if its not showing sign s of improving after another 2 weeks. Good Luck.

Get checked.: You may have a mechanical obstruction like a meniscal tear or a loose body. See an orthopedic knee specialist for evaluation.

Knee injury: Severity of injury will determine the rate of recovery . Most knee injuries which don't continue to improve should be a sign that the knee should be seen by a physician.,
