& your question is?: You've described high grade esophageal injury, which may occur in the setting of gastroesophageal reflux (GERD), infection (Herpes, cytomegalovirus, etc.), burn damage, drug-related ulceration, Crohn's disease, etc. Dexilant (dexlansoprazole) blocks acid but may not have fixed your problem if not an acid-related one. Do you feel improved? Is the benefit of Dexilant (dexlansoprazole) to you outweighed by risks of continued use?

Reflux: What is your question. Sounds like you have had a thorough GI workup, have been diagnosed with esophageal ulcer and started on medication and dietary and behavioral change.Do you mean Dexilant (dexlansoprazole)? We don't know anything about you, not even your age or your conditions or habits, so I guess follow your doctor's instructions.
