Motion artifact ?: Any imaging test, especially an MRI, can have spots in them that are not a real abnormality, called motion artifact. Your radiologist should be able to tell if the spots are something real or not, because the dots can represent fluid collections as well. If some question exists about whether this is a real finding, you will need to repeat the study, sorry. Trauma can cause fluid collections...
