No: Parkinson's affects the voluntary muscles and the autonomic nervous system. There can be swallowing and constipation problems but the enzymatic functions of the stomach should still be maintained. Talk with your neurologist - perhaps a different form of the medication would be more effective for you, or a different medication altogether.
