Scheduled for mohs procedure next month for basal cell on my ear lobe ....could it spread to my ear drum or brain ... it started over five years ago ?

No spread: Spread of basal cell Ca essentially is almost unheard of to spread. After 5 yrs. it has remained localized but continues to grow. When smaller, Efudex (fluorouracil) cream (5FU) applied daily x10 can control lesion. Surgical resection may also be used and lastly MOHs paste is utlilized as a dermatologic procedure.
