Daughter's tonsils are huge/lumpy. she's had a near abscess, tonsillitis, and strep. anything i can do at home to help? i hate so many antiobiotics.

Tonsils grow faster than the kids until 6-8 when they all usually look relatively large.This size difference declines, and by 16 they are relatively small. Recurrent infections can keep them large. Antibiotics are fine when used judiciously and can prevent lifelong complications.Good hand washing habits help decrease any childhood illness.
