Rest: Mild spotting may be nothing to worry about but if the bleeding increases or you develop pain, see your doctor. An ultrasound and blood tests can be done to confirm a viable pregnancy. Until then rest and take it easy. Take care.

Spotting : Spotting, if light is considered a normal part of the first trimester. If in some way you are concerned about the heaviness of the bleeding, be safe and either discuss with your OB, or make a visit to their office for a checkup
