i'm 8 weeks late. urine test and blood test all turned up negative. recently, i had a little bit of brown discharge coming out. what could it be?

8 weeks late: Hard to tell what the brown discharge is. If pregnancy has effectively been ruled out, it may be that you are having so called anovulation bleeding - bleeding that occurs from the overgrowth of the lining of the uterus (endometrium). It is frequently uncontrolled and may last days or even weeks. I'd go to the doc and have a full history and physical exam to begin with.
