A member asked:

When do you get a glucose screening in pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Early and/or late: A screening for gestational diabetes may be recommended and performed at your first prenatal visit if you are at high risk for diabetes...and repeated again later; for pregnant women who are not at high risk for GDM, the "glucose screening" is usually done between 24 and 28 weeks of pregnancy.
