What can cause sharp pain in arm and neck?

Nerve Injury or: possibly nerve entrapment such as from a vertebra gone out of whack or disc inj.Strangely, if an upper rib become dysfunctional, it too can cause sharp or achy pain in arm & neck.I recommend a good history & physical including osteopathic hands-on exam to figure out cause.Treatment could be as simple as manipulation, but if other treatment is necessary, your D.O. will be able to do it or refer.
