Partial list: The following is a partial list of the medications that can raise ALT. Statins, some antibiotics, some antidepressants, and some medications used for treating diabetes, tacrine, aspirin, Tylenol, (acetaminophen) and quinidine. So called herbal medications, such as milk thistle, can also raise ALT. It would be prudent to check with your pharmacist, if any of the drugs you take may be toxic to liver.
