A member asked:

I've had cramps for 8 hours so i took pamprin. when will it start working?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe never: Try a prostaglandin inhibitor such as ibuprofen. Pamprin is a mild analgesic, like aspirin, that does not specifically target the root cause of the cramps, which is prostaglandin. If ibuprofen is not effective, see a GYN MD for an assessment of why the cramps are so severe.
