Strong Rx: Consider a topical retinoic acid and/or topical benzoyl peroxide, and you will probably need at least a short course of an oral antibiotic. If you're a female, sprionolactone or an oral contraceptive pill may help. If your acne is quite severe, consider isotretinoin -- it's not for the faint-hearted but is very effective.
