Rule of thumb: Sinus infection: Green & thick discharge often from just one side. Facial pain perhaps and coughing often. Fatigue sometimes. Often preceded by a cold. Hay fever: Sneezing spells, runny nose, nasal stuffiness, itchy nose. May be seasonal. Flu: Low grade fever, nasal symptoms, fatigue, body ache usually in colder months. All of the above as just some of the symptoms.
