Does an angiogram show all my arteries?

Angiogram: Angiograms are area specific and show the arteries to the area/organ being studied. We generally don't perform whole body angiography.

Not all of them...: An angiogram is an xray where a contrast material (dye) is injected into specific arteries to look for abnormalities and blockages. But they look at specific areas with a single study. For example, you might have a cerebral angiogram if stoke is suspected, a coronary angiogram if your doctors are concerned about the bood vessels serving your heart, etc.

Angiogram: is typically done to address symptoms. Therefore angiograms typically look at one area of body. CT angiograms can cover larger areas of body such as abdomen chest or legs
