A member asked:

What are the signs and symptoms of an abdominal tumor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Varied: If an abdominal tumor arises in the GI tract the signs are associated with invasion of that structure. A stomach tumor ulcerates and can bleed or obstruct the stomach. A small bowel tumor can bleed, perforate or obstruct. Uterine tumors enlarge and as fibroids can fill the lower abdomen. A retroperitoneal sarcoma can grow very large. Frequently not recognized until spread to liver or lungs.
