No: Most common symptom of pancreatic cancer would be painless jaundice. Pancreatic cancer is also extremely uncommon in your age group. Taking metformin WITH food may reduce your symptoms significantly. If not, tell your doctor that you are having stomach problems with metformin and you will be prescribed an alternative medication.
