Composition: of the thighs is a key point. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonnie_Blair has huge thighs, but very little body or thigh fat. How much subcutaneous fat you can pinch off of the muscle (one inch in thickness is normal) is a measure of fat composition. at a BMI of 22.5 .. you are totally normal. Suspect it is predominantly muscle and that its loss and the starvation to lose it is not healthy.
