Abdominal Pain: If you child is staining or having hard stools she me still have constipation. Make sure she is drinking plenty of water and fiber in the form of fruits and vegetables. You can give her prune juice or raisins to smack on. You can also use Miralax (polyethylene glycol) in her juice once a day to keep her stools soft and regular. If still with pain then she needs to see the GI for further evaluation. Good Luck to you.

Enemas often?: in children we need to r/o things like allergy to food substances- milk, cereals. Don't habituate the child to enemas. She should be able to pass stool atleast once daily without enemas. In addiiton to pediatrician , consult an allergist which may help. Lactose intolerance, gluten sensitivity , some other allergy to some particular food substnaces may make the baby symptomatic,r/o organic problems.
