How long does it take for fluconazole to work on ringworm?

10 days: The skin turns over in 10 days. If you have a common fungus you probably got it from a kitten (or a cat), or from another person. The best therapy is usually lamisil. The generic terbinafine costs $4 for 10 pills to take 1 a day. You should also get otc an antifungal cream such as Miconazole or clotrimazole. These are cheap and effective. Many skin disorders look like fungus but are not.
