Try it: Ring worm usually resolves. You need to also make sure all clothes are washed well. Change sheets pillow cases etc. Then make sure medicine used as prescription states. If these fail then you can say its resistant and try new medicine.

See a dermatologist: Most of the time the gp will be wrong with this diagnosis. Then the fungus treatment fails to help. "ring worm" is not a medical term but usually refers to tinea corporis. This is a fungus transmitted from another person or from an animal, usually a kitten. Best treatment is often terbinafine orally. But a skin specialist may recognize something else, followed by better treatment.
