Not normal: Pain in the shoulder is not normally a "pregnancy-related" symptom. Are you short of breath or having any chest pain? If not then I would see your doctor to have the shoulder evaluated and see if the joint is inflamed for some reason.

Not related: Shoulder pain is not a common related symptom to early pregnancy. SInce pain is keeping you up all night, you should see your clinician asap to get it evaluated. Ask your OB how much tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen you can take for pain.
