It is common: Hip pain is very common during pregnancy. It is caused by a combination of the high Progesterone in pregnancy that causes more relaxation in the joints, exacerbated by the weight of pregnancy as well as the position changes. I recommend stretching and back exercises as well as pregnancy support belts. If that is not helpful, consider a physical therapy consultation.
