Will facial peels have any effect on keloids?

Won't help, may hurt: Keloids are overgrown scars that form in response to injury to the skin. A peel won't get rid of these deeper scars, and the injury to the skin caused by the peel (which it is supposed to do) may cause more keloid formation. My advise - don't do it.
