Probably not: Peeling the top layer of the skin will reveal softer, newer skin but not likely to reduce your scar. Dermal-abrasion, filler for dented scars, or use of some newer laser technology is probably better, but i can't tell for sure what is best for your case--where the scar is, size, type, shape, color etc...These factors are important, so is your expectation. Consult a dermatologist. Good luck.
