A member asked:

My son (1.5 years) has immature platelet fraction- 8% platelet count - 97000 lymphocytes - 85 % haemoglobin - 9.1 is it good or bad?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Get checked: The hemoglobin level of 9.1 is low, and signifies anemia. Also, lymphocytes 85% is very high. These findings are in addition to the platelet changes. Does your doctor suspect viral infection? Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)? You need a physician followup urgently, & possibly a hematology consultation as well, especially if leukemia (ALL) is suspected. Hope that helps.
