Osteophyte: You can always return to the same physician for assistance , or seek the help of another physician . Especially if - as you stated - it is very painful.

Be conservative: the majority of navicular area pains can be alleviated with conservative treatment Id try inserts, meds, therapy and rest and get a second opinion
