Ham-smelling urine!?: It's impossible to tell what it is based on the info given- regardless, with any UTI,if source control isn't achieved, then no abx will help. This could range from an infected stone, anatomical issues, retention of urine, physiologic problem (eg. overactive bladder), or a resistant bacteria. Maybe, an alternative diagnosis that mimics a UTI exists- this is why it's wise to go to the urologist

?resistant UTI: Possibly you have a UTI that was not susceptible to the first Agent (macrobid). Best case is you had a Urinalysis with a culture and sensitivity test done, so the definitive bacteria causing your UTI could be diagnosed and the exact antibiotics that would be able to cure it would be known as well. The Urologist should be able to help you best. Good luck.

Urine odor: by itself is a pretty unreliable marker of anything. Various food/spice/breakdown products including those from the drug itself are excreted into the urine and could produce an odor. Without other symptoms, pain/irritaiton/bleeding odor by itself is not an indicator of infection cannot say in your particular case, but generally, this would be true.
