Graves disease: is an autoimmune condition in which the thyroid becomes overactive. Medications can counteract the effects of the excess thyroid hormone. The eyes can also become bulging. You should see an ophthalmologist for an evaluation. Your doctor may suggest radioactive ablation of the thyroid to control the disease. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

Antibody positive: Graves disease is an autoimmune disease, so positive antibody is not unusual with that disease.

Thyroid antibodies: You do not say which antibodies are positive. TPO antibodies are found in either Graves or Hashimotos. TSI is part of Graves. Either way, antibodies don't impact the treatment plan. If you are hyperthyroid (elevated FT4) then you need treatment, typically medications, radioactive iodine, or surgery. Talk to your Endocrinologist about the options.
