It could be!: Thyroid conditions are prevalent among first line blood family members!,, either hypo or hyper thyroid conditions may develop to in mediate blood relatives of thyroid it's patients! When getting a physical by your doctor, mention to him the family history and keep an eye for fatigue, weight changes,lump in neck area,elevated cholesterol,palpitations, easy labs to do! Good luck,
