A member asked:

My 6 yr old is sleep walking she gets out of bed and walks and talks during the night hours and it's happening almost every night.should i be worried?

Not necessarily: Sleep walking/talking are often a product of long term sleep deficits.Inconsistent bed times or too much tech/TV just before bed can cause poor sleep.A 6 yo should get about 10 hrs of sleep/night. Stopping TV/tech at least an hour before going to bed helps them get into a bedtime pattern. As little as 30 min more sleep per night could end this pattern .
