Plantar fasciitis: Based upon what you are describing, it appears you have planta fasciitis. That is inflammationof the ligament that attaches to your heel. Improper support of the arch with cause pain in your heel. It will be worse upon awankening or after being seated for awhile. Custom made orthotics is the best conservative treatment for this problem.
