My son has 13 months. he is perfect! (he can walk, begins to talk).during sleep, can still be seen (very rare) ankle clonus (max 1-3 beats).i worry?

NO: Occasional clonus or myoclonic jerks are normal at this age. The only time to worry would be if he limps when walking or has unexplained fever. Then i would call your pediatrician.

I wouldn't: Ankle clonus occurs in two basic settings; before the brain has linked all the nerve control to permit smooth walking and later after established and lost to disease or injury. I don't worry about this in infants and toddlers with a normal pattern of development.
