A member asked:

What is the most reliable test to rule out myasthenia gravis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Several needed: Though a positive anti-AChR antibody test is diagnostic of Myasthenia Gravis, a negative test does not rule it out, so it may require an Edrophonium test {antiholinesterase test} plus even electodiagnostic testing to completely rule it out.
