Interference: Being OVERLY stressed would suggest that your levels of feeling anxious or unmotivated perhaps etc. begin interfering with your ability to normally function at work or at home. Sometimes recognizing that one is depressed can take the evaluation of an experts. Most people initially at least do not recognize they are suffering from depression. They think it's just too much stress, etc.

Are your symptoms: causing you difficulty in relating w/others or doing your work? Do they cause discomfort? See a clinical psychologist for a session or two. He/she can help you understand what is going on and treat if needed. Peace and good health. Don't rely on medication alone.
