Possibilities...: Sometimes, after the infection of acute bronchitis has resolved, there is residual airway inflammation which, in some patients, results in bronchospasm and coughing. If this is the case with you, bronchodilator and steroid inhalers can be used until this cough completely resolves. So, see your doctor so this regimen can be prescribed once the diagnosis is made.
