I have nasal drainage that is clear into my throat and very mild cough with no fever. could this be allergies or sinusitis?

Clear drainage: Clear nasal drainage and post nasal drip may be associated with allergic rhinitis. The post nasal drip may produce a cough. If you have a fever, muscle aches and other flu like symptoms, infection is more likely. Take an over the counter anti histamine, and if there is no improvement, consider other causes and a virtual consultation. Rinse nasal passages with saline, avoid smoke, dust and mold.

Nasal drainage: This could be allergies, but an associated significant cough would point to a viral upper respiratory tract.infection. Sinusitis is characterized by headache, discolored nasal mucus and is often preceded by a headcold. You could try taking an antihistamine and/or use a decongestant nasal spray.or a corticosteroid spray if allergies are suspected.
