Possibly: It is possible. Autism has a strong genetic component (and btw it is NOT caused by vaccines). You could have a moderate form of Asperger's, for instance. There are people who still go through life undetected; people may think they are just "odd." If you want to be sure, best to talk to a psychologist or psychiatrist who specializes in autism.

The autistic spectrum has a wide range of severity. We all know doctors, scientists, famous people who today would be diagnosed with Asperger disorder or high functioning autism.
