A member asked:

My baby born at 36 weeks and know he's 10 weeks old. he doesn't smile yet. is that normal?

Should be soon: Infants born at 36 weeks and later are often only very slightly delayed (if at all) in their developmental milestones. Giving the benefit of doubt with a corrected age of 6 weeks, your baby should start to smile, laugh, follow gaze to midline and hold the head up at 45 degrees over the next 2-3 weeks. If not, see your pediatrician for assessment.
