Higher doses...: ...of an SSRI such as fluoxetine are usually better for anxiety, especially for "high anxiety" such as panic attacks and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Aripiprazole (Abilify) has not been proven to help anxiety although it can help depression when added to an SSRI.
