A member asked:

Late puberty. growing up, eat/sleep really bad. i am 20, 5'6. late puberty. dad was malnourished but 5'10. now, eat/sleep well + work out. can i grow?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: Most growth centers in males close at 16-17 but a delay of puberty might keep them open later.A single x-ray of the wrist and hand could identify open centers and confirm or exclude more growth. Poor sleep, poor diet, lack of proper exercise and chronic illness prevent one from reaching their potential. If your growth centers are closed, you are done.
